The Holly Springs Police
Department is a full service state accredited police agency. The department
is made up of the command staff, sworn officers and civilian staff. The
Police Chief manages the department and is assisted by a Captain. The
department manages police administrative services to include internal
affairs, administration, and training along with field operations to include
criminal investigations, uniform patrol, K9 unit, community policing
programs, and a Police Explorer program for young adults aged 14 (if in the
9th grade) to 21.

Holly Springs Police Department Learning Partnership with Holly Springs Police Department and Columbia Southern University
have formed a Learning Partnership which allows employees of the Holly
Springs Police Department, their spouses and children, to take advantage of
CSU's low tuition rate and receive a 10% tuition discount. Columbia Southern University, a leader in online learning,
offers a variety of online associate, bachelor, graduate and certificate
programs. CSU offers a Criminal Justice degree along with other degrees
offered and information about these programs can be found at http://www.columbiasouthern.edu The
Holly Springs Police Department is listed on http://www.columbiasouthern.edu/partners/learningpartners/ Columbia Southern University is accredited by the Distance
Education and Training Council (DETC). The DETC (http://www.detc.org) is an accrediting association
recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council on Higher
Education Accreditation (CHEA). Columbia Southern University is approved for
Veterans’ Educational Benefits. |
