The Holly Springs Police Department is a full service state accredited police agency. The department is made up of the command staff, sworn officers and civilian staff. The Police Chief manages the department and is assisted by a Captain, 2 Lieutenants and 6 Sergeants. The Captain manages the police administrative services which include internal affairs, administration, training and field operations. He is aided by Lieutenants that are the divisional commanders for the Criminal Investigations Division, Uniform Patrol Division, the K-9 Unit, community policing programs, and a Police Explorer program for young adults aged 14 (if in the 9th grade) to 21.
