Sergeant Adrian Stubbs

Hi, I am Sergeant Adrian Stubbs. I began my law enforcement career in 1989 with the Royal Bahamas Police Force. I have worked in the uniform divisions and as a police detective. I was working as a detective in the Serious (Major) Crimes Section of the Criminal Investigations Department, when I was promoted to detective sergeant. Several years after joining the RBPF, I migrated to the United States and later joined the ranks of the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office as a reserve deputy, where I served diligently for approximately 8.5 years. During my service with the Sheriff's Office, I was the recipient of the 'Officer of the Year' award, twice. In 2007, I joined the ranks of the Holly Springs Police Department, where I proudly serve the citizens of the City of Holly Springs. I am currently assigned to the Uniform Patrol Division and also serve as Commander of the Part-Time Officers Unit. I am also a member of the department's newly formed cyber crimes unit which is a part of the GBI's Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. I am a sworn, Georgia certified law enforcement officer, and I am also an electronics engineer and IT professional. I currently manage the IT functions for the police department, along with the City’s IT Manager. I received my first undergraduate degree from Norfolk State University, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS degree in Electronics Technology. Later, I also earned a BS degree in Criminal Justice from Kennedy-Western University, and a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from the same institution. I have also completed numerous engineering, IT, management, supervision and law enforcement courses during my professional career. I am also a trained computer forensic examiner. I am married and I am the father to three young adults. My family and I reside in the city of Johns Creek, Georgia. I am the author of the book, The NSA Files, Code Name: Venusian in Black. My second novel is expected to be available sometime next year. “Integrity is one of several paths; it distinguishes itself from others because it is the right path, and the only one upon which you will never get lost.” M.H.
