Officer Danny West

Hello, I am Officer Danny West. I am currently employed by the Holly Springs Police Department in the capacity as a sworn part-time Police Officer within the Uniform Patrol Division. I have been a police officer and with the City of Holly Springs since late 2007. I have been working in public safety for 27 years, and for the last 20 years I have been employed with Cherokee County Fire Department. My current position with Cherokee County Fire-Emergency Services is the Emergency Medical Services Chief. During my tenure with Cherokee County I have served as a Firefighter/Paramedic, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, Medical supervisor, Battalion Chief, and currently EMS Chief. I have a very broad knowledge in firefighting, rescue operations, rope rescue, hazardous materials, medical operations, instruction, administration, and Incident Command. I also serve as the Medical Leader of Cherokee County Multi-agency SWAT team. I hold many certifications in firefighting and rescue operations, leadership and management; I am a licensed paramedic, and certified police officer. I am honored to work for an agency that practices Integrity and Professionalism like the Holly Springs Police Department does. My favorite quote: "If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader." - John Adams
