Sergeant Cullen LaFrance

Hello, I am Sgt. Cullen LaFrance. I am 31 years old and have been in law enforcement for over 13 years. I started my law enforcement career in 1997 when I began working for the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office as a detention deputy.
Afterward, I attended the police academy in December of 1999 and graduated from the North East Georgia Police Academy in April of 2000. Next, I worked in the Uniform Patrol Division as a deputy sheriff until July of 2001.
I began my initial employment with the Holly Springs Police Department in July of 2001. Eventually, I reached the rank of sergeant while assigned to the Uniform Patrol Division.
In June 2003 I then left the Holly Springs Police Department for a position with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.
A year later, I transferred to the Cumming Police Department where I worked in the Uniform Patrol Division. I later was promoted to the rank of sergeant and also became one of the two Uniform Patrol Commanders.
In July 2008, I returned to the Holly Springs Police Department. I am currently assigned to the Uniform Patrol Division as a sergeant and one of the Watch Commanders. I am also the T.R.A.C.E. commander for Zone 2 and serve as a member of the Cherokee County multi-agency S.W.A.T. team.
I am currently engaged to be married and I have a teenage daughter.
