Sergeant Adrian Stubbs is the commander of the Part-Time Officers Unit. 

The P/T Officers Unit consists of sworn, certified and dedicated officers who augment the regular staff of the department on a part-time basis.

These devoted officers help fill the department’s staffing voids.  By filling  those voids, the part-time officers help ensure that continuous levels of high caliber law enforcement services are provided to the citizens and visitors of the City of Holly Springs, at all times.

The mission of the P/T Officers Unit is to provide the best cadre of dedicated, qualified and professional officers to supplement the resources of the Holly Springs Police Department, and to promote safety for the citizens, visitors and businesses in the City of Holly Springs, Georgia.

       Requirements/Obligations          

• Georgia certified officers

• Meet the same hiring standards as do full-time officer applicants

• Participate in mandatory multi-agency in-service training (51 hours/yr.)

• Attend other departmental in-service training as applicable

• Must be RADAR and LASER certified (will be trained if not currently certified)

• Must be patrol rifle and/or shotgun certified (will be trained if not certified)

• Required to work a minimum of 8 hours/month

• Attend P/T Unit meetings when announced

• Supplement UPD as required

• Work annual City sponsored activities and events
